We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our UK Inbound team in Sheffield on a full time, permanent basis.

About the team:
You would be joining a team of eight legal professionals who work closely together, from both our Sheffield and London offices. We are a relatively young team and enjoy working closely together, as well as team socials.
There is a strong ethos on team of supporting each other and, although you would report to a specific associate, there is opportunity to learn from different supervisors. We have a varied client base, including major companies from different industries as well as a variety of smaller clients.
About the role:
The Immigration Paralegal will assist in the day-to-day functions of the UK Inbound team including all aspects of casework and assisting in the preparation of applications. They will benefit from direct supervision and assist in the preparation for and attendance of external meetings, marketing events and project work. There is opportunity to work on varied application types, albeit principally sponsored worker applications.
Other key responsibilities will include and experience of these will be beneficial:

Assisting in preparing and delivering client presentations, best practice sessions and training

Under direct supervision, acting as a caseworker on straightforward cases

Supporting Senior Paralegals and Associates with the progression of more complicated cases

Reviewing client queries and drafting responses for review by Senior Paralegals and Associates

Preparing documentation for applications under visa routes that include Skilled Worker, Intra-Company Transfer, Settlement, Appendix FM and others as directed

Reviewing applicant and approval documentation

Updating the case management system and general administrative support as require
About you:
Ideally you will have previous experience within immigration or a client-facing professional role. A law degree is not required but a desire to develop your career within a corporate environment is essential. The ideal candidate would be willing to volunteer for project work, such as preparing presentations, drafting articles, and helping on a social pillar.

Fragomen in Sheffield:
Our Sheffield office is based in the city centre with the added bonus of free on-site parking, as well as several public transport links close by.
