Paralegal
Dataiku is hiring a Paralegal on a fixed term contract to be based in London to support the EMEA region. We are looking for a self-starter and solution oriented team player. The Legal & Compliance team consists of individuals with diverse backgrounds currently located in New York, Paris, London and Singapore. We are a strategic partner for Dataiku's day to day business and passionate about supporting the growth of our company. This position will report to the Director, Legal based in London.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing NDAs, Evaluation agreements and supplier agreements (and/or any other commercial agreements as needed).
- Performing legal research and administrative tasks as and when required.
- Assisting Dataiku’s Legal & Compliance team in providing legal advice on a broad range of topics.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification. Candidates who have completed Law School and have a training contract offer preferred.
- Highly organized, comfortable with managing projects simultaneously and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- The ability to professionally and efficiently communicate (in writing and verbally) complex legal and business issues.
- Fluent in English and French. Having another language would be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a law firm or in-house at a technology and/or international company preferred.
- Familiarity with data protection law and other privacy regimes is a plus, preferably in a technology context.
