Residential Paralegal - Edinburgh - English/Welsh transactional work

Hybrid working

Top tier firm based Edinburgh has an immediate opening for a experienced residential paralegal who has gained experience dealing with a wide variety of Engish/Welsh transactions work,

Key areas of responsibilities

The suessful candidates will be expected to deliver all elements of residential sales, purchases and transfers and related standalone security work relative to properties in England and Wales.

Manage transactions effectively within agreed timescales.

Working closely with the in-house team providing a high level of service to clients.

Specifically, the role will involve:

  • Residential (and some rural) Conveyancing;
  • Negotiating contracts;
  • Examining title and reporting to clients;
  • Raising any title enquiries;
  • Drafting transfer and other Registry forms;
  • Preparing security documents and drawing down loan funds;
  • Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns; and
  • Processing Land Registry registrations and dealing with post completion queries.

We are interested to hear from individuals whoideally experienced working as a residential paralegal in the jurisdiction of England and/or Wales.

The role entails the individual being able to deal with the entire sale, purchase and security process in a residential property transaction.

You will be a strong team player with sound practical property experience and enthusiasm to develop your technical skills and legal career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload and manage projects from inception to completion. Attention to detail is key.
