The Best Connection is working with our client who are a well-established engineering company based in Washington. Due to expansion they now have a vacancy for a Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter. Duties will include: Building control panels from wiring schematics Drilling/ tapping and some basic mechanical work Fitting components including 33kV switches, reactors and capacitors Testing & inspection in preparation for customer FAT tests Electrical fault finding Requirements: Knowledge of tools and instruments of the trade Ability to work with minimal supervision Precision and attention to detail Work closely with the engineering teams to ensure the smooth running of projects Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm Pay rate: £15.50 per hour this is negotiable based on experience The role is being offered on an ongoing basis with a view to becoming a role.
