Established over 120 years ago, this impressive Engineering organization has diversified and is now a major supplier to a number of high-profile businesses operating in a variety of industries, including Chemical, FMCG and Steel Processing. In the past 2 years, this employer has made significant investment and now operates out of a brand new, purpose build 75,000 sq ft facility, from which they provide end to end services from initial concept design to aftercare & servicing.
Because of continued demand of their bespoke engineering services, this employer is now looking to increase their assembly output by recruiting a Panel Wirer on a permanent basis.
This employer is based in WAKEFIELD, just a few minutes from the M1, meaning the successful Panel Wirer can easily commute from surrounding towns and cities, such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Halifax and Dewsbury.
Key Responsibilities of the Panel Wirer:
- Read, interpret and work directly from engineering drawings and schematics to accurately assemble bespoke machinery
- Occasional installation of machinery on customer premises
- Effective and safe use of a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment (lifting equipment, cranes etc.)
Working Hours of the Panel Wirer:
37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift
- Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 16:30
- Friday – 08:00 to 15:15
In return, the Panel Wirer will receive:
- Renumeration: £29,250.00 per annum / £15.00 per hour
- Holiday Allowance: 31 Days (23 days + public holidays)
- Scottish Widows Pension Scheme: Matched contribution up to 5%
- Private Health Plan (Westfield)
- Life Assurance – 2x Annual Salary
- Relevant Company PPE & Workwear
