Job description
Hampshire Pallets Ltd is a timber pallet manufacturing company based in Fareham which is owned by PSP Logistics. The business has been specialising in the manufacture of new and bespoke wooden pallets for over 30 years.
We are looking for someone to join our friendly team. The role will include a variety of tasks including building pallets from scratch and loading vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Working on the saw, with nail guns and other wood tools.
- To support the manager to design and build wooden pallets and cases, ensuring the products conform to specifications
- To ensure your work space is clean, tidy and complies with health and safety regulations.
- To work both inside and outside and sometimes at our customers’ premises when we are packing large or fragile cargo into cases and/or containers.
- Driving a fork lift truck would be a desirable skill although not essential as training can be provided
Job details:
- Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 (20 minute break AM and PM with 25 minute lunch break) Friday 07:00-14:00 (20 minute break AM and 25 minute lunch break)
- 20 days holiday which increases after 2 years of services by 1 days every year until a max of 25 days is reached.

Although previous experience is desirable it is not essential as training will be provided. This is a physically demanding role and may include bending, lifting and repeated actions, so the successful candidate will need to be fit.
