The Baby Academy is revolutionising parental education in the UK through its unique content and inspirational educators. Positioning itself at the nexus of Ed-Tech and Med-Tech, The Baby Academy was founded in 2019 and is growing rapidly across the UK with 16 full-time staff and 22 educators. The Baby Academy has incredibly ambitious growth plans and is looking for Midwives to join its teaching team to deliver classes here at The Baby Academy.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Midwives to join our team at The Baby Academy as an educator. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering live online classes to first-time mums and partners, focusing on providing evidence-based information on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative live online classes to first-time mums and partners on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Respond to questions and concerns from class participants.
- Collaborate with our founder and Chief Education Officer Susan Hogan to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of classes
Requirements:
- Registered Midwife license and currently practising in the UK
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver information in an engaging and energetic manner.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, with the ability to accommodate a varying class schedule.
- A minimum availability of two Saturday mornings per month.
Remuneration:
- The Baby Academy offers attractive remuneration for teaching classes.
- This is a part-time role, and many of our current team of instructors couple this role with their own full-time employment.
