Job description
D&K Pallets is a leading supplier of bespoke pallets and packing cases throughout Huddersfield and the surrounding areas with many years’ experience and a strong reputation for quality and quick turnaround. We are currently looking for an experienced Woodwork Operative (Pallet & case assembler) to join our team.
Full time / permenant / Immediate start
Experience in woodwork assembly (training can be provided)
You must have experience using woodworking saws and nail guns and be able to read measurements in metric and imperial.
You will be manufacturing pallets & cases at the beginning with the opportunity to learn new skills within the business, you will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties and adhering to health and safety compliances and standards at all times.
Forklift truck license preferred but not essential.
The standard hours of work are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday, 20 min break in the morning, 1 hour for lunch.
