This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long-established organisation, who are leaders within their fields and who offer excellent career progression.
The Role
The work involved includes: loft conversions, extensions, new builds, refurbishments, void reactive and planned maintenance. Some work will be site work and other work will involve moving from job to job throughout the day/week predominantly on a reactive basis.
These are very good roles, working for a dynamic Director and team, playing a very important role, with plenty of responsibility and career progression.
The Person
The ideal candidates will come from a maintenance background and will have a good all round ability.
You will need to have all road "multi trade" skills and be able to carry out the following types of work:
- Paint and decorating
- Patch Plastering
- General carpentry
- Tiling
- Basic plumbing
- General handyman skills
Applicants must:
- Enjoy quite varied work
- Be able to think on their feet and problem solve
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be happy to work alone
- Have good organisational skills
- Have good time management
- Fluent in English
- Hard working
- Full UK driving license
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm; overtime available on weekends and after hours
Ideally the role is for immediate start or ASAP.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
