Job description
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Painter & Decorator. As the ideal candidate, you will possess practical skills, a high level of attention to detail and pride in your work. You will also demonstrate the ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively and work well in a team. NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent) required.
Key Responsibilities: Being an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating requirements;
- Interpreting and working from all instructions, drawings and specifications;
- Minor repairs to surfaces prior to decorating/painting;
- Using all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works;
- Carrying out a planned program of painting and decoration in accordance with the day sequence, deadlines and as instructed by the Production Manager, Assistant Production Manager and/or Foreman;
- Requesting materials and supplies as needed;
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are met and best practice standards observed;
- Undertaking all training, including mandatory and best practice training, as required by the business;
- Ensuring the integrity of our core values, ‘Innovation, Inspiration and Imagination’ at all times.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
