This post is a great opportunity for anyone looking to build a career managing events and venues, looking to develop their skills in key University teams. The post-holder will work across three teams, initially to gain experience in a variety of events, with a focus on the large twice-yearly graduation ceremonies.


Graduates will be encouraged to bring new ideas and fresh knowledge from their student experience into the role, supporting the departments to plan, promote, deliver and evaluate a range of high quality events and activities.


The successful applicant will be able to switch between practical tasks and working accurately and responsively. They'll need to be able to prioritise their tasks and have good problem-solving skills. They must be confident using the Microsoft suite and be able to work accurately with data and confidential information


About you (requirements)


We are looking for someone who is a good presenter and communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with people from a range of backgrounds.


We are looking for someone who is a good problem solver and who is self-motivated and can work independently, but also knows when to escalate challenges and seek help.


To be eligible for the Bath Spa Graduate Scheme you must be a Bath Spa graduate from 2022 or 2023.


Although the scheme is open to all 2022 and 2023 graduates, we are particularly excited to hear from graduates of:

Interview Date: Development centres will be held in person at Bath Spa’s Newton Park campus on the 18th and 19th July. You will only need to attend for a morning or afternoon on one of those dates and you will have the choice of which one, if your application is successful.
