Job Overview
Ensuring all painting/decorating work required is carried out as directed. Assisting with general maintenance tasks as requested. Working with and supporting the maintenance team during match days and non-match days, problem solving and helping them to deliver a working Stadium
General Duties
Preparing areas to be painted – e.g. removing old paint, levelling surfaces, filling in cracks and holes etc.
Preparing work areas and protecting surfaces not requiring painting with covers or sheets
Matching, mixing, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
Ensure Health & Safety measures are implemented and adhered to. Eg. sectioning areas as needed
Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures when project is complete
Erecting/dismantling scaffold towers, work platforms, step ladders and other support structures
Working with and supporting the maintenance team during match days, problem solving and helping them to deliver a working Stadium
