About the Role
A lot of people think Marketing is about writing clever words, producing cool images and posting them on a social media feed. But what good is a genius marketing campaign if it doesn't reach the right people?
Here at OpenTable, we connect people with restaurants, bars, wineries, and other venues around the world, helping those venues to attract guests, manage capacity, improve operations and maximize revenue. In fact, it's likely that your favourite restaurant uses us to manage their bookings!
And, since we know quite a lot about connecting people, we know that it's so much more than words and pictures; it's understanding behaviours, solving problems; using data, numbers and reporting to ensure we give people the information they really want. It's the technical side of Marketing that often gets overlooked – but not by us.
Among a team of experienced colleagues in San Francisco, New York, London, Berlin and Copenhagen, we're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join OpenTable's Performance Marketing function. You'll be working on detailed tasks with a global reach and huge impact, influencing people's experiences of the world through your love of problem-solving, automation and numbers.

We're really keen to hear from you if you've got a degree in Computer Science, Business or Social Science (you'll get to apply all your knowledge to "real world" problems!) or if you've had previous experience working in a marketing agency or mid-sized in-house team. You'll also need to have great attention to detail and a strong bias towards technical solutions, processes and measurement. Because we work a lot with our colleagues in the US, we'd ask that you'd be flexible with your schedule to coordinate with the US west coast teams where needed, too.
