Company Overview: We are a well-established player in the consumer goods industry, renowned for delivering high-quality products to consumers worldwide. As we continue to enhance our supply chain operations, we are seeking a talented Supply Planning Functional Expert with hands-on experience in utilizing Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) for supply planning in the consumer goods sector.
Position Overview: The Supply Planning Functional Expert will be a key asset in optimizing our supply planning data and processes. Leveraging your expertise in Blue Yonder and your understanding of the consumer goods landscape, you will contribute to the efficient and effective management of our supply chain, ensuring timely product availability while minimizing costs and optimizing inventory. Key role requirements would be:
· Creating and developing accurate forecasts by working closely with the sales team.
· Data Management and Data analysing skills.
· Production and Material Planning
· Liaising with Suppliers and maintaining the relationships
· Managing stock levels between suppliers and 3rd party manufacturers, ensuring they are maximised and optimised.
· Develop and evolves the Supply Chain process.
Job Specifications:
Blue Yonder Proficiency: Serve as the go-to expert for all aspects of Blue Yonder's supply planning modules, from system configuration to customization, ensuring the system aligns with our business needs.
Supply Planning Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute supply planning strategies that align with business goals and leverage Blue Yonder's capabilities.
Demand Collaboration: Work closely with Demand Planning teams to align supply planning with demand forecasts, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within supply planning, utilizing data-driven insights and Blue Yonder functionalities to enhance inventory management and service levels.
System Enhancements: Lead or contribute to the implementation of system upgrades, new modules, and process enhancements related to supply planning, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply planning accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover, with a focus on driving consistent improvement.
Change Management: Guide the organization through process changes and system transitions related to supply planning, ensuring stakeholders are informed and adequately trained.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to supply planning team members, enabling them to leverage Blue Yonder effectively for optimal outcomes.
Market Insights: Stay informed about consumer goods industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies, offering recommendations for adjustments to supply planning strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in supply planning within the consumer goods industry.
· Strong proficiency in Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) supply planning modules is essential.
· Analytical mindset with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
· Familiarity with demand forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory optimization principles.
· Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
· Experience in system implementation and change management is advantageous.
· Sound understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
· Problem-solving orientation and ability to provide strategic insights.
