Because of exciting new plans in the works for 2023 Homebase are recruiting across multiple teams, including our commercial team! As such we're seeking a Paid Acquisition Lead to join us on a permanent basis as soon as possible!
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy which means you will be based out of our Milton Keynes Store Support Centre and you decide with your manager and team what works best for you and the role you do! If that means working from home, then work from home. If you prefer to work in an office, store, or distribution center, then you're welcome to work from there. All we ask is that if your manager or team needs you, you are available to come into Milton Keynes for meetings, check-ins, collaboration, and some fun. This may be more regularly during some of our busier, peak periods (up to 4 days per week on occasion, but you can expect to work from the office 1 to 2 days per week regularly).
The role
This role will lead and execute the company’s paid media investment for a large UK Home & Garden Retailer, across all paid media channels.
What will you be doing?
- Manage bids, budgets, audiences, and all targeting settings
- Plan and analyse A/B tests on all aspects of campaigns, such as audiences, creative, and bids
- Report back on test results to fuel further tests and provide insights to other parts of the business
- Management of optimisation between PPC vs SEO performance required in conjunction with media agency
- Diligently monitor the performance and continuously optimize in order to grow sales while achieving efficiency goals
- Provide insights to help the full marketing team improve efforts, including messages that drive engagement and sales, the impact of promotions, and similar analysis
What you need to be successful:
- Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment. You are a quick thinker who is comfortable making decisions based on data and your extensive experience in the field of paid media, with a passion for marrying consumer insights and business goals with great creative and growth tactics.
- You will be detail-oriented, analytical, strategic, creative, customer-centric, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and quick to adapt to change.
- You will have sound experience in developing and executing compelling media strategies alongside our Media Agency. You will manage and nurture the relationship with our media agency.
- An Interest in product development and trends
- Analytical profile – knowledgeable of Excel , GA and Data Studio, used to working with large sets of data and transfer results and recommendations swiftly.
- Proven track record of successful Paid Search execution, management and optimization
- Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple project simultaneously
- Strong understanding of digital media planning and execution and on top of Paid Search trends.
- Experience in a Paid Search role on media agency side or client side within role-relevant industries (DIY, Fashion, FMCG, preferably).
