£50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Are you a Paediatric Nurse qualified Clinical Manager working for the NHS but keen to move into a complex care at home setting?
Overview
Compass Associates is proud to be exclusively partnering alongside a growing provider for nurse-led complex healthcare in the home. They have developed steadily for the last 5 years with forecasts to double their turn over the next 24 months.
They are rated “Good” by the CQC and are reputed for their bespoke nurse-managed care, given to both adults and children and covering those (but not limited to) Spinal and Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Respiratory conditions, Epilepsy, and Cerebral Palsy.
Together we are seeking an experienced Paediatric Clinical Manager to join their senior clinical management team, in leading a team of Regional Nurses in the field.
Your remit will be composed of complex care clients, you will liaise with the MDT and provide mentorship for the Regional Nurses who will be signing off competencies for tracheostomies, PEG feeds and ventilator management. You will be supporting on-boarding packages, maintain those currently within your remit, be visible to the clients, their families and the rest of the team.
Work Pattern
Monday to Friday, flexible working times and outcomes focused. Typical working week will be 2 days in Headquarters in Fareham, 2 days out on the field and 1 day working from home.
However, this is flexible depending of the needs of the organisation.
Location
Fareham based however with a regional remit of Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset and Kent
Criteria
- RCN / RSCN – Registered Children’s Nurse / Registered Sick Children’s Nurse registered
- Experience of working within a Complex / Critical care setting is essential, such as ICU, ITU, CCU, HDU,
- Management experience looking over clinical teams is imperative
- Training in tracheostomy, ventilator management and PEG feeds, paediatric hoist
- Excellent personal organisation and communication skills
- Passionate in promoting independence for those needing care from long term conditions
- Must possess a clean UK driving licence with own car
- Clear DBS
This will be a two-stage process, with the 1st stage being a MS Teams informal conversation with a Senior Clinician and another member of the SMT.
2nd stage will be competency based and a face-to-face meeting at Fareham with the Clinical Director
Salary and Benefits
Salary is £50k - £60k per annum + mileage, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an industry-leading benefit package:
