Shift pattern: 14.30pm-23.00pm

We offer £250 joining bonus after the qualifying period.

Honeyrose is a gluten free and organic wholesale bakery in NW10, producing a range of handmade award winning sweet and savoury biscuits, cookies, flapjacks and brownies for major retailers, supermarkets and independent coffee shops.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Packing Supervisor with flow wrap experience to work in our award winning bakery in Park Royal (just 5 minutes walk from Harlesden tube station).

Successful candidates will be quality-driven and will be responsible to ensure that their team follows the procedure correctly within the bakery.

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment factory to BRC standards will be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

· Understand the production plan, delegate & organise the work to your team with aim to achieve the plan efficiently·

· To ensure the products you pack comply to agreed standard in regard to: colour, size and weight

· To strictly follow prescribed procedures, in particular production stages identified as Critical Control Point in the HACCP study

· Strictly follow traceability procedures

· Follow allergen procedures

· Make sure stock is rotated on FIFO basis

· Complete shift checks & quality control checks

· To store goods in appropriate manner with aim to preserve the quality of the product as best as possible

· Train, motivate, lead and develop team members in correct procedures and make sure products are made per correct specification and best quality standards.

· Track staff performance.

· To report any equipment failures

· Implement all health and safety guidelines and ensure they are followed by the team at all times

The ideal candidate must:

- Be familiar with setting up and running the flow wrapping equipment

- Be tidy, methodical and have high standards of hygiene

- Have experience with quality systems in a similar environment, ideally BRC certified factory supplying major retailers but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
