CNC Machinist at Precision Manufacturing Company
Compensation: $30 to $40 an hr
Expanding machine shop in north San that is ISO 9001 and ISO13485 certified seeks skilled CNC Programmers/Machinists/Operators.
Position compensation is based on experience and we offer a competitive benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, vacation, holiday pay, a 401(k) plan. We operate on day shifts and an optional swing shift from 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm. This is a full-time position with an immediate opening.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
· CNC setup and operator
· Recognize trends in machine performance and ability to make necessary adjustments to maintain stringent part requirements
· Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
· Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
· Interact with production planning and quality control departments to achieve on-time delivery, quality and profitability goals
· Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reductions, processes, quality and productivity
SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Fadal, Haas, Makino, Mazak, Mori Seiki and Yasda a plus. Candidates with Makino experience jump to the front.
· Able to program, set up and operate CNC vertical, horizontal and 5 axis multi pallet machines with limited to no supervision.
· Must have 10 years Mastercam CNC software experience
· Experience reading and writing G-Code
· Experience with Fadal, Haas, Makino, Mazak, Mori Seiki and Yasda a plus.
· Knowledge cutting aluminum, steel, stainless and plastics (delrin, acrylic, peek, etc.)
· Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators
· Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, speeds and feeds
· Read and interpret assembly drawings and blue prints with a strong math background
· Complies with established safety directives
· MUST be able to communicate and follow written and oral instructions, in English
· Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 procedures a huge plus
· Strong work ethic
