POSITION SUMMARY
Our eventful London Office is on the hunt for an experienced self-starter with a commercial and entrepreneurial spirit to join our dynamic team. He/She will mainly assist with picking and packing VANITY GROUP’s wide range of products.
Ideally, the candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
PICKING & PACKING
- Picking and packing orders for hotels destined for both domestic and international clients and prospective clients.
- Working efficiently and attentively to ensure orders are dispatched daily in a timely manner.
- Ensuring samples are accurately packaged and presented in line with brand standards.
- Ensures all samples are cross-checked and marked off by Sales Coordinator
- Liaising with the Sales Coordinator/Head of Supply Chain to ensure timely labeling of all requests ready for dispatch at 3pm daily
- QC/QA stock is to be checked/logged on a fortnightly basis, Stock Donation & Giveaway Document filled out and provided to the Head of Supply Chain in accordance with the Stock Giveaways & Donations Process Policy
- Stock Donation & Giveaway Document to be filled out for any stock that is required to be written off, donated or given away to VG Staff Members, and for approval from the Head of the Supply Chain
- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the entire packing room (including stock, consumables, and collateral) and to be left tidy at the end of each day including flat packing cartons and properly putting them in the waste bin.
- Ensure packing room shelves are restocked daily and that open cartons are clearly labeled with product category and size. (e.g. Shampoo 30ml = S 30ml).
- Label file to be managed & checked weekly. Communicate any required labels to the Sales Coordinator
- Loading and unloading stock deliveries
LOGISTICS FUNCTION – dotted line to Head of Supply Chain
- Working closely with the Supply Chain and Sales Team to notify them of any low stock/OOS issues that might arise.
- Manage packing room stock levels of proprietary and licensee brands and update transfer form by COB each day
- Complete fortnightly order for packing room consumables – raise requisition form with the Supply Chain Team
- All deliveries relating to the packing room (e.g. consumables, transfers, etc) must have the invoice cross-checked, signed, and dated, within 1 day of goods arriving, to confirm all goods ordered have been received without error then submit to the Supply Chain Team
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant stockroom experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment - picking and packing, scanning and stocktaking
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg (when required)
- High attention to detail and numeracy skills
