Job Description: Packing Operator An industry competitive salary of £24 – 25k (base salary, shift bonus and 6% additional variable pay on top), paid overtime, a competitive pension and private healthcare + generous paternity pay for 6 months (up to 90%) Due to continued expansion we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Petcare brand at Castle Cary as a Packing Operator. The Packing Operator will be a multi-skilled packing associate who is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained. The purpose of the job is to efficiently run packing machines in the factory to ensure adherence to the production plan. The packing operator will also play a pivotal role in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects within the packing hall. Packing Operator main duties include: As a packing operator you will maintain excellent packaging line efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate any deviation from standard or plan Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout the packing hall Be responsible for the achievement of GMP/GHP packaging score Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard Actively participate in Operational processes that support the improvement of our business performance Packing Operator skills/experience required: Communicative Written and Spoken English Experience in a similar role- you could have worked as a Packing Operative; Packaging Operator; Production Operative; Warehouse Operative etc. WHY WORK FOR MARS?
