Job description
Based in Avonmouth, Plant-Ex ingredients in an international company specialising in the manufacture of Natural Food Ingredient Solutions, supplying across the globe either directly through our own facilities or through a number of selected distribution partners.
We specialise in spray drying food colourings and flavours as well as production of liquid food colours, flavours and extracts.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our packing team!
When the production section of the factory have completed a batch of liquid product, it is kept in holding tanks which are then placed into the packing section, and these are filled through taps into 5kg, 10kg and 25kg containers.
This role is for a new packer to join the team on a late shift working 32.50 hours per week16:00-23:00, with 30 minutes for lunch, Monday to Friday.
The packing area is light, quiet and clean and is an easy place to work with the radio on - the team are enthusiastic, hard working and friendly.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
No experience needed – we offer full training!
We are looking for driven people who want to get involved and succeed in our fast-paced company.
You need to have basic reading and writing skills for recording batch numbers, and basic computer skills for sending emails.
You need to be physically fit and be able to lift 25kg comfortably.
You will need a high level of attention to detail.
Counterbalance FLT preferred.
