Full time: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern (06:00 – 14:15 and 13:45 – 22:00).

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Imerys Aluminates LTD are currently recruiting a Production & Warehouse Operative to join the crew, where teamwork is the name of the game. The packing plant consists of a team of 12 and you’ll be working in a team of three forming a key part of the successful and smooth running of our West Thurrock site.
The role will require you to package our calcium aluminate cement into large bags ‘big bagging’, fill bulk tankers using on-site equipment, load palettes on containers and lorries, input and maintain accurate data on our computer systems as well as respecting the health, safety and environmental standards.
This role is offered on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern (06:00 – 14:15 and 13:45 – 22:00).
Your skills and experience
It is essential for the right candidate to have previous Production experience, within an industrial setting, along with a solid understanding of health and safety standards/practices. Previous experience using a counterbalance forklift is desirable.
You will need to be quality driven and have high attention to detail.
