Packer/Delivery Driver London, England
Job description
Job is to be started in Asap, face to face interviews scheduled and will take place.
Delivery of all goods on the vehicle as per manifest.
To assist of the loading and deliver Janitorial Goods and extras directly to the delivery point stated in line with the delivery notes each day.
Ensure all boxes and items are delivered each day. All boxes have been pre-labelled with the relevant consignment and total amount of boxes, this is so you know exactly how many boxes are to be delivered each day and to whom so accuracy is essential.
Take payments from customers where necessary, kept to a minimum.
Follow instructions on Manifest such as instructions of where to deliver the goods or if a specific Person requires to sign. Assist with paperwork and general administration to organise Manifest.
Ensure deliveries are completed within the required time limits but without compromising on customer service.
Ensure that the delivery vehicle is kept clean and tidy, inside and out at all times.
Ensure standard safety/maintenance checks are made each day to the delivery vehicle, and report all faults.
Ensure all necessary paperwork relating to deliveries is complete and up to date.
Collect any goods or empty containers required for recycling.
General
Although we try to keep rules to a minimum we do ask that you ensure that you familiarise yourself with our H&S procedures and ensure that you are aware of your own responsibilities in line with H&S and consider the safety of those around you.
Observer H&S rules in the Warehouse.
Be courteous to other road users when delivering and ensure you represent Alliance UK Ltd in a positive light at all times.
In line with Data Protection it is also important that you respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means.
