Robertson Recruitment are recruiting for Packers to work in a busy and successful manufacturing outfit based Colwick/Nottingham (NG4).
The ideal Production Operative will be working closely with the production team in an engineering environment who are highly motivated and take pride in their work.
PACKERS JOB ROLE:
- Working with metal items, you will have a hands on approach to help load and unload items onto the manufacturing line. (Heavy lifting involved)
- To communicate and plan workload with the team of operators and mangers.
- Some roles include, shot blasting, pressure testing, paint spraying, assembly and quality control.
- Ensuring products are manufactured in the most efficient manner.
- Communicating daily with the production manager.
- Maintaining machinery and fault finding.
- Adhere to strict health and safety policies and procedures.
PACKERS KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in working in an engineering background.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to do regular heavy lifting.
- Good communication skills.
- Quick learner, ability to follow continuous training.
- Flexibility and positive attitude.
- Good team player also able to work on their own when required.
PACKERS BENEFITS:

- Day shift only 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri + overtime available.
- Overtime after 40 hours/week is paid on x1.5.

The basic pay rate is £11.50/h (up to 40hrs/week).
Overtime rate is £17.25/h (over 40hrs/week).
