CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST/NURSE PRACTITIONER– BAND 7/6 DEPENDING ON NURSING/PALLIATIVE CARE EXPERIENCE
(Permanent Position – Full time hours)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Hospice IOM in our clinical nurse specialist team, working across all healthcare settings. We are committed to developing our talented team members and this opportunity would suit you if you are a band 5/6 nurse with career aspirations or already a band 7 nurse looking to consolidate and build further on your experience and practice.
Hospice is a strongly patient focused service. As an experienced registered nurse with an innovative and inquisitive outlook, you will help us to maintain and continuously improve the high quality support we offer people with palliative care needs across our community.
You will have your own caseload, enabling you to build relationships with your patients and their families, and the ability to undertake high level assessments of complex health care needs. By using your palliative care experience, knowledge and clinical judgement, you will be able to initiate interventions and refer to other colleagues or services. You will have already undertaken, or will be supported by Hospice to undertake, the Non-Medical Prescribing Course.
If you have determination, drive and energy and are looking to be part of a fantastic team delivering compassionate and high quality palliative care then we look forward to meeting you.
