Job Title: Packing Operatives
Location: Crediton
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 5.45am – 2.15pm / 1.45pm – 10.15pm (rotational)
Pay Rate: £11.79ph
gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for Packing Operatives on a temp to perm ongoing based in Crediton, Devon.
As a Packing Operative you will join a team that specialise in pharmaceutical products and distribute throughout the UK. Although previous experience is desired, it isn’t essential as you will be provided with full and extensive training. The site has multiple departments where you can find a role that suits you.
The role of a Packing Operative is varied with duties including:
- Weighing of ingredients
- Following written instructions
- Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packed
- Reporting any damaged / defective products
- Working to packing deadlines
- Closely working between production, packing and despatch departments
- Palletizing of products
Shift Rota Pattern:
- Monday to Friday, 5.45am – 2.15pm / 1.45pm – 10.15pm (rotational)
Essential for the role:
- Be able to work as a team or individually
- Good spoken and written English
- Able to get to site for the working hours
