Job description
Responsibilities:
- Read over the customer pick-up/order tickets.
- Prepare orders to be shipped to specific customers with precision.
- Orders should be organized on skids, then wrapped and weighed for transportation.
- Skids should be labeled to ensure appropriate delivery.
- Fill out all required shipping papers completely and properly as directed by the business, client, or regulatory agency.
- As ordered by a supervisor, load and unload trucks.
- Assist with inventory control on a physical level.
- Goods are packaged to ensure their safe and undamaged arrival at their destination.
- Recognize and adhere to the company's quality policy.
- Complete assigned work in a timely manner and in accordance with specifications, as well as timely completion of all documentation.
- Follow all safety requirements set forth by the company.
- Maintain a safe working environment by collaborating with other department personnel.
- Pay attention to your supervisor's directions.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
- Provide details to allow other teammates to continue working on in-progress tasks during or before a shift change, if necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- GED or high school diploma
- At least one year of packing or inventory control expertise is required.
- Lifting a minimum of 35 pounds is required.
- Basic math skills are required.
- A forklift certification is required.
- Be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day while bending, pushing, tugging, twisting, turning, and walking around a huge production complex.
- Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain a high level of attendance.
- Pay close attention to the smallest details.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Physical inventory experience of 2–5 years
- Experience with a stand-up forklift
- Order Picker (Cherry Picker)

Salary info:
$17 - $19 / hr
