Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Packer based in Bedford for a reputable manufacturing company.
Summary of the Packer role…
Salary: £23,019 per annum + £3,288 shift allowance.
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Working 4 on 4 off, rotational shifts of days and nights.
The role…
As the Packer your role will involve the following important duties:
- To make sure that all products that are packed are formatted correctly with correct delivery codes.
- Complete stitcher checks.
- Complete checkweigh checks.
- Work to daily production targets.
- Report faults on all packaging machinery.
The experience required…
As a successful Packer you will have the following:
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy goods and work across multiple floors.
- Target-driven with excellent attention to detail.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience of working in a process environment is advantageous.
