Packaging Machine Operator

The Longridge site is currently in the midst of an ambitious expansion programme, with capital equipment investment and staff investment being at the heart. What do you get?
- Training rate of £11.25/hr raising to £12.00/hr once fully trained
- Overtime available, paid at time and a third
- 40-hour week. Swing shift AM: 6.00am - 2.00pm & PM: 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday - Friday (alternate weeks)

What will you do?
- Operate packing machinery and ensure packed product is compliant with customer requirements
- Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and effectively, making fixes or adjustments where required
- Complete production paperwork/ computer entries in a timely manner and ensure that all entries relating to traceability and quality control are completed accurately
- Carry out general housekeeping – ensure your work area is clean and tidy at all times
- Assist in the lifting and manual movement of finished product and equipment
- Ensure attention to detail and attention to safety are adhered to at all times
What are we seeking?

- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous experience of working with machinery or in a technical production role
- A growth mindset – you want to learn and improve your skills and experience
