Bowthorpe Industrial Estate, Norwich
Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Office working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Ability to commute to Norwich office (required)

Job Summary:
Thompson Packaging is a leading independent manufacturer of corrugated packaging. This key role, based at our Norwich site, provides creative design support to our sales team, and leads the pre-production process within in our factory. Please note this an full time on-site position - hybrid working is unavailable within this role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate creative packaging artwork from approved designs and briefs supplied by clients and the sales team.
- Developing artwork in line with our manufacturing print production machines
- Create, design and produce corrugated samples using Kasemake packaging design software
- Purchasing print and cutting tooling from suppliers
- Managing and organising pre-production tooling with the production staff
- Producing pallet plans using Cape Pack software
Your Essential Skills:
- Fluent using Illustrator (educational or employment)
- Passionate about design and creating better packaging
- A keen eye for detail
- Proactive team player that communicates effectively with clients, suppliers and colleagues
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Full valid UK driving license
Your desirable Skills:
- Experience working with packaging design.
- Understanding of software Kasemake
- Knowledge of corrugated packaging or packaging materials.

- Basic annual salary up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
