Core4ce is hiring an Application Packaging Engineer to be responsible for creating, maintaining, packaging, testing, and delivering customer/commercial applications via site specific images on a monthly basis in a large DoD program.

Responsibilities

• Provide Monthly Images to over 50 sites to include Application/Security updates using Citrix Provisioning Services
• Provide cloud-based image solutions for multiple platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Develop Ansible artifacts & playbooks, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization
• Create and/or modify automated application deployment scripts for silent application installs using PowerShell
• Troubleshoot and resolve application packaging issues/errors
• Have a clear understanding of all procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure that changes made to the production environment always have the appropriate approvals, change controls, and have been thoroughly tested
• Manage virtual servers with multiple OS's, includes provisioning, monitoring, governance and upgrades
• Deploy and manage Citrix environments utilizing publish desktops and publish applications to make available to users both internally and externally

Requirements

• Experience with Citrix technologies such as XenApp, XenDesktop, and Provisioning Services
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware
• 5+ years of experience using PowerShell scripting
• 8 years with the Windows Operating system
• 2 years of experience with Amazon AWS, Azure
• Experience implementing a continuous integration (CI) or continuous development (CD) pipeline
• Experience with Ansible Playbook development and Ansible Tower deployment
• Intermediate-level scripting in Bash or Python. Experience in Ruby, PL/SQL, PowerShell is advantageous
• Ability to understand and assess security related issues to a given application
• Experience operating in a DoD environment, in particular navigating network, access, and security/accreditation policies and requirements.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Clearance

Preferred

• Microsoft Deployment Toolkit(MDT)
• Experience with Application packaging and packing tools used for deployment
