We currently have permanent opportunities for Packaging and Labels Operatives to join our team in Willand, Devon.
- This post is working Afternoons
- The hours of work are: 3:30pm - 24:00am, Monday to Friday.
- The rate of pay is: £11.95 per hour
The role of packaging and labels operatives is a key position in our production. Your job is to ensure the correct codes and labels are on our products at the end of production.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cross checking and verifying the information on food labels
- Control which labels and packaging are loaded into the machine with excellent accuracy
- Ensure the correct label is put on the correct product
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be a good communicator with good spoken English as you will need to read detailed information on the labels and communicate with your team
- Reliable and punctual
UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers. We know our proficiency is in processing, so we work with experts in other fields such as: hatching, farming, animal husbandry and transport to ensure that our supply chain is as effective and efficient as possible.
