Sandy Cove North Devon Hotel is located next to the stunning & secluded Broadsands Beach and within a short drive from other amazing beaches of the Atlantic coastline. With ever changing seasons there is always a great reason for guests to visit Sandy Cove, ensuring our team are busy all year round.
With arguably, North Devon’s best wedding venue, our 38 en-suite bedrooms, many of which have a stunning sea view, superb indoor pool and leisure facilities, we’re looking for team members who will add to the Sandy Cove magic and reflect the 4* status that our guests have rightly come to expect. Alongside our 3 Rosette, Michelin recommended Seacliff restaurant, or our more family-oriented dining option of the Cove restaurant, the expectations and standards we set ourselves are high – can you match them?

Job title - Hotel Receptionist
Report to: Reception Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated individuals who have excellent communication skills and are a real people person. Customer service is at the heart of this role and going above and beyond for your guests must be central to everything you do. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and an engaging manor with an ability to implement company standards. We are looking for an individual who has ability to work well in a team but equally confident to work effectively on their own, in sometimes high-pressured problem-solving situations.
The applicant will need some operational experience within hospitality as they will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction is paramount. Positive experiences in a customer focused environment is desirable but not essential.
About You
· Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
· Ability to adapt approach to customer
· Proactive approach - looks to exceed customer expectations and acts as a 'positive memory builder' to enhance the customer experience.
· Strong organisational skills - able to manage guest reservations whilst maintaining Company KPI's.

· Warm and welcoming approach, confident manner
· Flexible and able to work weekends as the role involves significant weekend working (but not every weekend as we know how important it is to have a social life!)
