Job description
This is a new role created to support the National Head of Architecture and Building Surveying (ABS) based in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head of ABS in all areas below:
- Manage every aspect of the Head of ABS' day, taking care of key tasks such as managing meetings, booking appointments, full diary and email management
- Working with and supporting him to create time and space to manage the discipline and his clients
- First point of contact for the for the rest of the business and clients
- Manage timesheets and expenses
- Invoicing
Key Skills
You must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experienced PA with proven and demonstrable experience working at a senior level
- An ability to maintain confidentiality
- The ability to work under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities
- Strong organisation and time management skills for self and manager
- Excellent communications skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of O365

Team Overview
The Architecture and Building Surveying (ABS) team has more than 45 staff and operates from across the whole of England and Scotland from more than 7 offices. The Head of ABS is based in Newcastle and is responsible for the management of the whole ABS business and is supported by a small Board. ABS is part of the Rural and Projects business which operates across the whole of the UK and has more than 650 staff.
