About the role
OKRA is rapidly growing, and to make sure we continue our innovative work in developing state-of-the-art AI solutions in life sciences, we are looking for a highly motivated, tech-savvy Personal assistant with a proven track record in supporting Senior leaders with managing their schedule, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
You will join a highly skilled international team, with diverse backgrounds and gender parity, based both in Cambridge (UK) and Leiden (NL). You’ll work cross-functionally together with Marketing & PR, HR, and other team assistants on projects such as the implementation of new software, team events, leadership travel, and the CEO’s Daily agenda.
What you’ll do
- Act as a focal point for processes, communicating internally with the team, service providers, and our senior leadership
- Coordinates day-to-day execution of tasks with the different teams in the different international cities
- Ensure the standards and procedures are being followed on a daily basis
- Performing day-to-day process administration such as Planning calendar management team, booking travels, checking expense claims, and liaising with the finance department on purchasing and invoice queries.
- Act as a local office assistant, supporting our central HR team
- Be the main POC for companywide events partnering with HR to deliver great experiences to our team
What you’ll bring
- A strong track record in project management, acting as safekeeper for CEO’s time
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with cloud work tools such as M365, familiarity with project management tools
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced & unstructured environment
- Proficiency in English
- Great at problem solving, you’re pro-active and flexible and understand we only win as a team
- You’re resourceful: maybe you’re not sure of the answer right away, but you know where to look
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with startups
- Experience with office & facilities management
