PA/Receptionist (Motor Engineers) Edinburgh, Scotland

Keith Elgin Motor Engineers are looking for a dedicated, permanent, team member who will be responsible for meeting customers, booking work and pricing invoices as well as ordering and sourcing parts. This is a very responsible position and we will expect the successful candidate to take this role and make it their own, to support and advance our growing business.
We are a long established family owned garage that has served the South of Edinburgh for over thirty years. We are looking to fill the position of a full-time Receptionist. This is an exciting and interesting position as it will involve working directly with long standing, loyal customers and engaging with new clients. You will also be liaising with our workshop Mechanics and become skilled in estimating jobs, ordering parts, job allocation and final invoicing.
In order to be considered for this position you will have experience and enjoy customer care and sales and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a good all-round knowledge of office practices. If you have worked in the garage industry and/or have knowledge of accounting, you will find this a distinct advantage. On-site training will be given to allow your skills to be transferred to those required for the Motor Trade.
Position is available immediately. This is a full time position, 8am-6pm, however there is opportunity to work a four day week.
