The Department of Sociological Studies has a major international reputation for excellence in research and teaching across Sociology, Social Policy, Social Work and Digital Media, achieving high levels of cross-fertilisation between these disciplines. This role will provide a wide range of administrative support to Professor Alan Walker and his project team members. You will be competent working with minimal supervision, however you will have regular contact with the Healthy Lifespan Research Institute Manager.
You will enjoy working with a range of people, have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong numerical skills, organisational skills and a good set of IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (word, excel and PowerPoint) and / or Google G-Suite applications - including Mail, Calendar and Drive.
This part-time, fixed-term post is available from 6 March 2023 until 31 July 2024, working 10 hours per week.
