Job description

Brushstrokes Community Project requires a Research and Policy Officer to deliver on the Better Pathways project which aims to improve outcomes for individuals and families who have No Recourse to Public Funds. As an organisation we have a strong track record of influencing social policy and delivering on research related to migration, this post will play a key role in the organisations development.

Funded by Barrow Cadbury Trust, we are looking for someone who has strong research and analytical skills, the ability to understand the policy, case law and legislative context of NRPF, experience of developing a strong service user voice to influence and inform policy and practice and evidence of networking and influencing in a previous role.

With strong organisation, listening and assessment skills you will work in line with our ethos of welcoming the stranger. You will be required to develop a project advisory group, provide policy briefings, reports and deliver presentations on the findings and coordinate a project advisory group.

This post is working 21hours per week, days to be agreed with the successful candidate. The salary is betweem £27,387 - £28,273 pro rata for part time employees.
