About the team
The Council’s shared service centre has a vacancy for a full time Payroll Administrator in the Pay & Conditions Team (GCC/External Clients).
We are looking to recruit an administrator who will be able to provide a payroll service for Gloucestershire County Council and a number of external clients, working within the Pay & Conditions Team.
About the role
The successful applicant will be involved with the processing of payroll payments, dealing with pay queries, providing guidance on employment terms & conditions and checking information to ensure our payrolls are accurate, meet statutory requirements and processed within the monthly deadlines.
This post will require full NPPV (Non Police Personnel) Level 2 security clearance in order for probation to be passed and a permanent job offer confirmed.
