We are recruiting Outdoor Education Workers to join our Youth Support Service.
The vision for our Youth Support Service is that all young people can enjoy their lives, reach their full potential and make a good transition to adulthood.
The role of the Outdoor Education Worker is to lead on the delivery of targeted outdoor education sessions and engagement programmes. We are looking for both qualified outdoor ed, sports workers and those that have experience in delivering engagement activities to young people. The role involves engaging vulnerable young people aged 13-19 years ( 25 years SEND). This will be delivered through programmes during the day and in the evening, project based work, both in buildings and in the community through detached youth work.

You will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation targeted engagement programmes and promote the physical, personal, social and educational development of young people across Cheshire East. The role will include assessing young people’s needs, measuring impact, evidencing outcomes and recording on systems.
You will be required to complete and implement risk assessments in line with Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures. Record on health and safety systems. Maintain and complete audit checks on equipment in line with our current outdoor education licence’s.
