Full-Time, Fixed -Term (12 months)
Applications are invited for the post of Volunteering Graduate Intern in the Careers Service at Royal Holloway
A fixed term Volunteering Graduate Intern position has arisen within the Careers Service at Royal Holloway. Joining the Volunteering team on its 20th anniversary year, the post holder will lead on a number of student engagement events and initiatives, coordinating the Volunteering team’s involvement in national events. They will be at the forefront of the team’s on-campus presence, coordinating the front desk of the Volunteering Hub and ongoing engagement with student leaders.
The post is available for 12 months full time and is open to Royal Holloway, University of London graduates who graduated in 2022, or are due to graduate in 2023.
The appointee would be working closely with the volunteering staff team as well as student leaders and the other teams within the Careers Service.
The successful candidate will be able to manage Royal Holloway Volunteering’s social media presence, coordinate flagship events and initiatives, support the recruitment and training of leaders and maintain links with student clubs and societies. Excellent written English, multitasking and the ability to collaborate with others are also key attributes.

Please note that it will not be possible for the College to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for successful candidates as this role does not fall into one of the standard occupational codes deemed eligible for sponsorship by UK Visas and Immigration and the pro-rata salary will not meet the minimum threshold set by UK Visas and Immigration. Successful candidates will therefore need to be eligible to work in the UK or have limited leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of their employment with the College, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
