Job description
Rendezvous Wedding & Events is a leading wedding and decor company leading luxury event design since 2006. We are hiring Event Set-Up & Teardown personnel. The Events Crew members are responsible for ensuring overall appearance of events are set-up and taken down according to schedule.
The Role
We are looking for Event Crew personnel to join the team! This position is a detail oriented role ensuring successful and accurate set-up of events, efficient teardown, performing general labor tasks and following design templates. The Event Crew positions available are casual-part-time positions that will require the successful candidate to work flexible hours throughout the week and weekend days and evenings/nights.
Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy manual tasks involved in event set-up and tear-out.
- Assembling and dismantling of event. This includes, but is not limited to: tables, chairs, staging, draping, backdrops, etc.
- Provide professional customer services to internal and external customers.
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned.
- Lifting and climbing ladders is required.
- Set up and take down of event decor including pipes, drapes, stands, centrepieces, linens, napkins, backdrops and more.
Qualifications
- Ability to work without supervision and cohesively in a team.
- Is a critical thinker and has problem solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
