Priory Hospital Arnold provides acute adult mental health services, delivered in partnership with Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust, at our purpose built facility in Arnold. After two years of successfully providing services for women, we opened a second service in May on behalf of the Trust, for male patients and we are about to open our brand new PICU service.
Priory Hospital Arnold has an opportunity for an international Nurse applicant, who has trained and is fully registered, experienced Nurse overseas, and requires a Visa Sponsorship to join and work with us here in the UK.

We are looking for nurses who want to be part of our journey to provide an outstanding service, who put patient care at the forefront of everything they do.
Our Mental Health Nurse (RMN) role involves:
- Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- At a more senior level, you’ll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
- Successful candidates will require:
- A relevant overseas nursing qualification and registration (ESSENTIAL)
- Evidenced English Language Proficiency (IELTS/OET) in line with NMC standards (ESSENTIAL)
- Minimum 18 months post-qualified experience in a Mental Health setting (ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach - our units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights.

Candidates pre-registered pay rate will be £23,595 and will work as a “Trainee Nurse” with equivalent duties of a Senior Health Care Assistant until they pass their OSCE (1st OSCE Exam attempt taken within 12 weeks of arrival in line with UK Visa and Immigration requirements).
Upon achieving full registration and receiving your PIN, your job Title will change to 'Staff Nurse' and will move to a £28,500 annual salary. At this time your duties will be aligned to our Preceptor Nurses and you will benefit from the same level of development.
Upon following the development and training for newly Registered candidates you can expect a further uplift to salary after 6 months of NMC full registration to £31,900.
