Job description
We are looking for a Herdsperson to join us on our family dairy farm in Puncheston.
The farm runs to approx. 430 acres with 200+ predominantly summer/autumn calving cows on a grazing and forage based system, milked twice a day through a 20:40 swing over parlour with acrs, cluster flush and a backing gate.
Duties would include :
Milking duties, overseeing the day to day running of the herd including overseeing their health and well being and keeping up to date records. Other work may include de-budding young calves, tractor driving, feeding with a tele-handler, summer field operations and helping with TB testing.
Foot trimming and AI experience would be advantageous although training can be given. We are committed to investing time into the development of your farming career through appropriate training.

Full Driving Licence required / Tractor driving experience essential / Experience in similar role would be advantageous
Working 11 out of 14 days
Typical Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm
Every other weekend (Milking Sat/Sun):
6am - 9am & 3pm - 6pm
(Every other Friday off)
Competitive Hourly rate Negotiable based on experience
