Job description
Our client is experiencing massive growth and has a full order book for the future. We are looking for experienced GRP Finishers to work on a contract basis for a prestigious boat builder in Dorset.
Duties include:
- Carry out all paint, lacquer, GRP and surface polishing and repair work
- Finishing gel coat by hand using paper, finishing compounds, sanders, polishers and blocks
- Trimming GRP using saws
- Basic housekeeping duties
- Correct use of PPE
Key skills and Qualifications required:
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Good team player and excellent communicator
- A thorough understanding of GRP laminating and associated processes including those mentioned above which may include trimming and grinding.
- Understanding of quality processes
- 2+ years' experience gained within the Marine, Aerospace,
- Automotive or other quality driven industry is preferable

Salary: £15.00-£22.50 per hour
