We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. We have a brilliant opportunity for someone to use their skills and experience as well as develop themselves working in our Organisational Development Team. This fixed term secondment is a chance to work on projects and programmes supporting staff across all sectors of AfC. As a team we run a wide range of programmes, from corporate induction, through to leadership & management and wellness at work. You will have the chance to work with colleagues at all levels ensuring we continue to deliver the excellent support we strive for. The role will be varied, you will be involved in all elements of managing programmes and projects.
This is a fixed term position - role is available until March 2024.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Organisational Development Team, working on projects and programmes supporting staff across AfC. We are a small but passionate team who are always looking for new ways of working to deliver the best possible solutions to give the biggest impact. This role will include a wide range of activities such as;
- Refreshing and managing the AfC coaching programme
- Supporting retention initiatives across services
- Working with the team to develop the support for all social work qualifying routes
- Collaborating with the team and other services

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can bring their own experience, including;
- Strong organisational skills, problem solving, creative thinking and multi-tasking
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Analytical skills, ability to monitor and report on activity to support the team reporting processes
- Ability to provide appropriate support and solutions, to achieve good outcomes and to understand how and when to escalate matters appropriately
