Location: Norwich based with regular travel to Manchester
Hours: 2 days per week (within the working week – no weekends) 25 hours per week
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a personable and Professional Driver/Chauffeur to join our team at Evander. In this role, you will be responsible for providing reliable and efficient transportation services to our senior team, ensuring they arrive safely and on time to and from our Norwich and Manchester offices.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive colleagues from Norwich and Manchester, following designated routes and schedules.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times, ensuring the privacy and security of our colleagues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing the safety of both yourself and the passenger.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Assist with any additional tasks or errands as required by the professional on route.
Requirements:
- Valid and full clean driver's license.
- Previous experience in a professional driving role, demonstrating confidence in driving long journeys.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
- Highly reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Willingness to undergo a full DBS and credit check.
Contract and Compensation:
This position is initially offered on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. Salary is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
