Caniff Electric Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company, is a full-line wholesale electrical distributor specialized to serve the commercial and industrial electrical industry. Caniff has multiple locations that serve Southeast Michigan.
Warehouse Order Picker/Truck Loader
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour, starting pay
Monday to Friday, 10am - 7pm, overtime as needed
Our Warehouse Order Picker/Truck Loaders are crucial to the success of Caniff Electric Supply. These general warehouse associates have two primary focuses- order picking, and the loading/unloading of company delivery trucks.
In this role, you will:
share in general warehouse duties including but not limited to order pulling, order checking, stock put-away, product and shelf labeling, and general upkeep/housekeeping. Accuracy and management are key in performing this role as well hilo operation.
The main duties of the Warehouse Order Picker/Truck Loader are:
- Fill Orders
- Stock Put-away
- Shelf Maintenance
- Checking Orders
- Truck Loading and Unloading
- Inventory Labeling and Location Assignment
- General Housekeeping
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable and accruate
- Forklift experience, or willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs solo, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and being on feet/walking entire shift
- 1 year of prior warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
