Job description
We are looking for Warehouse Operative and a picker and packer within a busy warehouse.

Responsibilities and functions
- Ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment breakdowns are reported timeously.
- All machinery and equipment must be stored in their designated storage bays, to avoid risks and accidents.
- Attain targets and meet deadlines to contribute successfully to the team.
- Assist the warehouse teams to achieve targets.
- Meet key performance indicators.
- Prepare, load, label and ship orders.
- Examine all received supplies for defects and damages.
- Load and offload supplies from incoming delivery vehicles, containers or boxes.
- Sort and store supply timeously, to reduce stock damages.
- Keep an accurate inventory log for all incoming and outgoing supplies.
- Thoroughly assess all incoming supplies for shortages, damages or any deficiencies.
- Report any factors that will impact the warehouse operations.
- Utilising all FLT’s in a safe manner in line with H & S policy
- Ensuring that all outbound stock is checked, loaded accurately and despatched on the system
- Undertaking PI checks as directed by management
- Maintaining all stock in an acceptable condition and ensure stock is placed in racking safely
- Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Undertaking any other duties which may be required to assist the needs of the business as directed by management
