Job description
You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle DBA servers, Oracle PL/SQL
● You will coach and support team members in case of issues, technical problems.
● Handle tickets and requests, troubleshooting technical issues; Ensuring that the processes are adhered to.
● Understanding of Multi-geo support environment. You will be responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration. Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA.
● Responsible for building and maintaining a test environment. Implement new technologies and design changes, implementing Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support.
● Apply patches/upgrades to maintain security level. Assist in implementation of data center.
● Implementation and Maintenance of Oracle Database Disaster Recovery, Data Guard.
● Resolve complex problems/projects through analysis, technical experience, and precedents; provide analysis for more complex issues, escalating as appropriate
● Experience in small to large scale system projects including full development lifecycle and structured trouble shooting and analysis skills
● Fully analyze performance issues in most critical and performance sensitive Oracle databases.
● Identify tuning opportunities; implement improvements and advice developers on SQL tuning options.
● Scripting capabilities in UNIX shell and Oracle PL/SQL
● Interact with fellow DBAs to disseminate process and configuration improvements. Good Experience in Oracle Golden Gate & troubleshooting skills, General Oracle Database Administration tasks.
● Experience on Oracle Database High Availability, Real Application Clusters (RAC).
JD for SQL Server DBA :
● Database administration activities like Installation, upgrade, configure and maintain the database environment for SQL Server 2008/ 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014 2016 ,2017 and 2019.
● Knowledge of SCOM monitoring tools
● Experience on SQL Server Patching
● Installation and configuration SQL server on Standalone and cluster mode.
● Experience on third party backup tool SQL Lite speed, Database high availability like Always-on, Mirroring, Transactional Replication and Log Shipping.
● Experience in · Database Migration and Upgradation on On-premises and Azure cloud environment.
● Database mail and linked server Configuration.
● Exposure on Tabular Data Encryption/Decryption. Experience database performance issue. Database backup and restoration. Exposure on SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
